Shrimp & Spinach Alfredo
Looking for a healthy version of your typical shrimp alfredo? This recipe adds spinach, low fat cheese, and skim milk to give you an alfredo, but with better ingredients. Make this recipe and it is sure to become one of your favorites!
Bring water to boil in a pot. Let noodles cook until done. Place to the side.
Heat oil in pot and place thawed shrimp in the pot. Cook shrimp until pink in color.
Add thawed spinach to shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add 1 cup of milk to mixture and then add in seasonings. Bring to a simmer.
On the side mix 1/2 cup of milk with 1 Tbsp flour until well blended. Add mixture to pot.
Simmer for 5 minutes. Add the cheese to pot.
Add cooked pasta. Mix together until blended.
